Browse to your World of Warcraft Classic\WTF\Account folder. Inside the Account folder is a listing of more folders, each labeled after account(s) you've successfully logged in and created characters with. See if your dwarf priest is under any of these account folders.

If not, sadly your character must've been deleted and is unrecoverable.
