Need GM Help

I went to the gym to blow off a little steam, my ticket was still pending, and when I got back I got a mail from a GM telling me they couldn't do anything about it and that I should be careful about who I trust,
I understand I feel a sort of emptiness inside after so much hours of hard work for that weapon. But in the end it's just and game and I should just try to enjoy it. I got a donation from someone's bank alt(won't give the name out in case) and I greatly appreciate it, I guess I will be back on the grind for this weapon again. Thanks to everyone for the support. I learned my lesson and I will try to be less trusting, I just taught this server was different.

It should be GM's duty to deal with scams like this, and make sure of it's legitimacy somehow. I was hoping you'd get your item mats back, but seems it isn't happening. Also, remember that not everyone on the server will be like that scammer, make sure the person who is crafting something for you is someone you can trust (and would not like getting their character permabanned).

Yeah I understand, I won't put everyone in one basket for one bad apple. I am just really frustrated right now, worked so hard for it..

<Summon More Ziggurats> Is a ninja/scammer guild.

Every few hours there is somebody complaining in /world about being ninja'd or scammed by one of it's members.

Was personally ninja'd by them the other day in a DM tribute run.

Personally I think they're should be a server wide warning for anyone to not join one of their groups, especially those lead by Evilkpax, as they will get ninja looted.

Well, i am this mage freind. He got his account stolen somehow.. after ppl made those scams, char was delted. I doubt that a person would lvl up to 60 to get his acc perbanned for 500 gold. What should he do? Is there a way to restore char or track ip of the guys who did it? watch all the way gold did? I know that GMs here don't have all instruments that blizz have but a way of dealing with account stealing and scam like that should be found!

Not to be an asshole here, but you really should have gotten a certified person to craft this expensive item for you, trusting any random shitter that links the recipe is a terrible mistake...in a way it is your mistake, people need to be more careful with their mats and with who they trust.

On a second note, i hope he gets banned and you get your items refunded, but learn from this mistake.

look at the mages gear, and a gnome mage blacksmith? Whenever i have to get a very expensive item crafted the person has to be in a well known guild with all or very close to BiS gear and hopefully a well known player or i would never trust.
