Does respect cost decay over time?

So, does the respect cost decay over time like it was in TBC?

I respected 3 months ago for 1 gold, and yesterday it asked me 5 gold!

Bug or it never was like this in vanilla?

There never was decay in, Vanilla. Like I've countless people before you. If you've never played Vanilla and come from other expansions then you need to wipe your memories and forget everything you thought you knew, because they won't apply to Vanilla. It's a whole nother ballgame.
