Mailbox Error

Whenever I type somebody's name into the send mail screen, I get the following error. I I clear the error, it repeats with each letter of their name.

I was using LunaFrames, but have disabled that AddOn and am still seeing the issue. I have also deleted my WTF and WDB folders to no avail.

I have the exact same problem, yet i'm not using any addons.

Occasionaly, the exact same problem (with only 1 of my chars). This char have another problem: his Friend's names dont appear in his Friend List.

Perhaps, these 2 pbs are connected.

The way I found to reslove this was to delete everyone in your friends list. Someone/something in there is bugging it out.

Was there any solution? I've tried the following troubleshooting methods:
1. checked other characters sending mail and receiving (including on the same account) - no probs
2. restarted computer
3. disabled all addons
4. tried mailing from other mailboxes
5. looked at my friends list, it's already empty so the suggestion of deleting friends isn't even relevant
6. changing the size of my window - totally guessed that had nothing to do with it
Next I'll try:
1. getting to higher level than 6 - highly doubt that has any effect whatsoever
2. deleting addons instead of just disabling them
3. reinstalling (but I really don't want to HAVE to since I'm working with 3g from my phone as a hotspot)
Please please please let me know.
I've tried sending something cheap to an alt to see if the delivery still occurs.. we'll see in an hour.

Is your friends list empty because you don't have any or because you can't see any? If you know you had some but cannot see them and have the option to delete friends, go ahead and delete what you cannot see.

New character, hadn't yet added friends as I was only lvl 6 when I posted. Still having problems with the mail but made an alt do the dirty work. Would still be nice to mail from my main, though.
