Alright...dont laugh. I live in a dorm with my brother. I happened to have left WOW running in the background on my pc while i was making food(spaghetti btw). I come back and see that i am disconnected. I try to log back in and i get this message "your account has been closed" ?! I proceed to log in the website and this was the reason:

You are banned until July 2nd 2015 18:20:32 PM for the following reason:

I have NEVER had any warning of some sort before this and i have been playing nicely, so i think its unjustified for me to be perma banned for my brother trolling/impersonating in trade chat? How come can i turn into a pedo in 10 mins It is Common sense that this is a troll because my behavior has not been like this before.

Can you even get perma banned because impersonating/being pedo with no warnings? It is against the Term of Use i guess since i cant find a part there that would deny this. I get that there cant be any section in Terms of Use for pedos since its illegal in real law also etc

This is just a sad way to get banned for...i just started and have been enjoying the game with my friends and have told many people about this great serv and now to get banned like this :S

So your brother managed to get your account banned. Ask him how he plans to reimburse you for the ~30 hours of work that he just made go up in flames.

It could have been a lot worse than a level 28 char though. Learn from this and if you cannot trust your brother to not be a dick to you, then never leave your computer without first either logging out or locking your computer.

Don't expect much sympathy here, your account safety is your responsibility and I'd assume that most people reading and responding on these forums prefer the GMs no non-sense attitude towards account action over Blizzards toothless approach.

Yeah i try no to resort to violence and kill my brother but i guess some kinda punishment he sure deserves....

I had "huge" amount time invested since i tried to get full blue gear and have some fun in BG"s 29lvl ;D

Just waiting if i can get a GM answer...or roll a new account :s

They do ban spammers. The problem is they literally come back only minutes later with one of their many, many throw-away accounts to continue spamming.

I would roll a new account if i were you, odds are they will not believe the brother story and it will remain banned. Just be happy this was a low pevel character and that you dis not lose anything you cant replace in 2-4 days of questing.

They should require brother excuses to email them a photo ID of both the banned player and his "brother" for the lulz. New policy change pls.
