Twink items not obtainable - Proof that they should be

Tragically the following twink item quest rewards used for the 19 bracket are currently unobtainable because of faulty requirements.


Arctic Buckler (Blackfathom Villainy): http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=7002 (only bugged for Alliance)

Gravestone Scepter (Blackfathom Villainy): http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=7001 (only bugged for Alliance)

Glacial Stone (Raene's Cleansing): http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=5815


Obviously fixing the requirements would be trivial. The difficult part is proving that they are indeed bugged, i.e., that those quests should be completable at 19 in Vanilla.

What makes it especially difficult to find early sources is that those battleground brackets were added relatively late in Vanilla (Patch 1.8.0 for 10-19). Naturally it would take a while for this sort of twinking to actually take off and then still not everyone would have known that they can even get those specific items.

Nonetheless after some google research and searching through some ancient unindexed forum posts I believe I have found rather compelling evidence. If anyone has further evidence please let me know so I can add it. Hopefully this will be enough so that we might eventually be able to enjoy these wonderful iconic twinking items in a blizzlike manner on Nostalrius.

It seems likely. I've only checked that they can't be accepted at the level they should though, not when they actually can.

I never said the requirements on db.vaniillagaming.org were correct. I was asking if the requirements were the same as VG's DB just to see if he picked up the quests at all. I never use VGs DB for references other than quest chains and the like.

After bwl patch Raptor Tunic and Master Hunter Gun are obtainable. I have them on my 29 twink
