PvP Server Connection Problems - Crash Loop

by jabona » Mon Oct 26, 2015 3:36 am

Hey all,

So for about at least 4 (7*) hours now, I've been getting disconnected almost every time I log on the PvP server, as you all have been too. Now I'm just having problems even getting to the character screen. I read some of the forums and heard about a possible War Effort quest causing the server to crash and reset? I'm obviously assuming someone is exploiting this, but does anyone know of any attempt to solve the situation? It's been going on for quite some time now, I figured something would be done by now, no?
Just wanted to get updated if anyone has an details. I'm trying to get back into the game, right? Thanks for any info provided.

UPDATE:
I just got on for about 2 minutes, got 3 or 4 crafts off, and then got d/c. So a little better, but its still really laggy and still crashing. Anyone?
Back to the same loop, crashing and laggy.

Further Update:
it seems they have noticed and are looking at it now. https://twitter.com/NostalBegins/status ... 4273656832

No update on the rolling crashes that I've seen.

However, not getting to the character screen happens at 5:30am server time every day. It clears up after 10 to 15 minutes. So you probably have two things going on there.
The pizza level in my bloodstream is dangerously low.

Gotcha. Yeah I figured that could be the case for this situation, guess I'll wait it out and see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

What specific message do you get when trying to enter the PvP server. "Disconnected" ?
I currently get stuck at "Logging in to game server". I assume you also can connect without delay to the PvE server?

Yeah I get all the way through to the realm list and then it just resets. Sometimes (rarely) I get in to a very laggy world can get booted after about 30 seconds.
Yes, I have been connecting to the PvE completely fine and have been playing there all day since this is happening.

Yea, same issue here... Interestingly frustrating, can't complain too much though; they aren't Blizzard. ;)

That is true, and I expected it to be down for some time once I realized it was just looping over and over. But surely everyone is noticing this and trying to do something, you would think?
