Lost my username

Hey all, how are you doing? Just need some help recovering my username on my account because i don't remember it. So if any moderator and stuff is on help me out please... i remember my character's name and level and proffesions and the server.... i think this information about the character can help you track down it's account name! (Note that this forum account is a fresh and temporary one that i am using to find help and has nothing to do on with the main account on which i was active for the last time about 4 months ago)

I understand you are very busy with other importand things (like for example i noticed many people get random bans) but could i at least get an answer? Can something be done about it or is my account gone and lost for ever and i should not return? I posted yesterday and i am sure some moderator sees this, so please just a quick answer... i am sorry if i sound impatient but my problem seems pretty trivial to not answer...

Hi, sorry to intrude on your thread but i am having the exact same problem you are so thought it would be better to post here then to make a new thread

I also last played about 4-6 months ago and also apparently can't remember my username. Its weird because i usually use the same name of something very similar for every game but whatever i try doesnt seem to work . I am sure i know the correct e-mail address and the charcters name but not my username. I tried to create a new charcter on a different e-mail and that worked fine but would like to play my original one if possible.

Any help would be appreciated and if i have any luck in the meantime will post back here and let you know. Heres hoping we both get back in soon

To see account names and all of their associated toon names go into your WoW folder>WTF folder>Account folder. The top folder there is account name(s). Inside of those are the toon names.

Diametra, the thing is i unistalled the game lol... so yeah the only way is with your (the nostalrius' staff) help...
i got the email, the name... many details so if something is possible tell us... i leveld my proffesions so high... would be a shame to lose it!

Diametra - Thanks for the reply but i did the same as don and uninstalled when i stopped playing to get some hd space back (wishing i didnt now though lol) so the info isn't there.

I did a bit of searching on google for the problem and came across this thread https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=11216 but i'm not sure how relevant it is because it was back in May. Also i am unable to pm anyone due to being a new user anyway ^_^

I thought maybe the account had been deleted due to inactivity but when i tried to re make the charcter it says ' Character name unavailable' so i know it is still there. Oh well back to trying different user names until we hopefully get a response i guess :p

ey bruh, the topic you posted, it says Viper the admin can help, so we better PM him (by the way, you can PM peple now, after you posted for a couple of times in the forums)
