If you want to argue: Multiboxing is having two clients open at the same time, regardless level.
No matter what, it is not allowed.
Hmmmm, I thought multiboxing was controlling two or more WoW processes (clients) from a
single keyboard (see, for example,
http://www.dual-boxing.com/forum.php). Thus, in multiboxing (as I understand it), a player can press a single key and the characters in each client do something, i.e., multiple characters responding to one [human] keystroke.
I've no intention of debating the issue. I'm absolutely fine with the prohibition on multiboxing. However, as stated above (by Mimma), this policy would seem to preclude the situation in which I (on my computer) and my wife (on her computer) are sitting side-by-side playing together. Surely, the server would see two clients orginating from the same IP address (our cable modem's IP) and raise a red flag.
Anyway, I suspect this situation is reasonably common (families, kids in dorms, etc.,). We do this a lot here at our house, and lately my grandson has taken up the game and I'll often guide him in-game (but again, he's on his own computer).
Any clarification would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
