connected into account, but then disconnect

type in details at login takes me to 'connected' then after 20 seconds it disconnects from server. Any suggestions?

Have just created this account today, downloaded Warcraft and re-installed twice just to make sure nostalrius client didn't miss anything. Made sure the realmlist is correct. Just won't bring me to the create character stage.

I am having the same exact issue. I type in my credentials and then it just says "Disconnect from server."

Make sure that you created an in-game account and not just a forum account as they are separate. Make sure you are typing your account name and password correctly. Make sure that neither is 16 characters or longer. Try writing a wrong password on purpose and see if you get a different error message.

done all the above and nothing works. I'm doing is off a Macbook but I've downloaded the OSX client so should be fine.

I think it has something to do with the OSX client on the website page. I've tried other private serves and it does the same thing. Says 'connected' for a while then 'disconnected from servers.

Well that is good then because it means that you are actually connecting to the login server at least. The problem thus lies in either your account details or forming the connection from the login server to the world server. What's your character name and are you using OSX version like zionular is?

I don't have a character yet as I haven't been able to get into the character creation section yet.. yes I am using the same OSX on an username called zionular
