Hey my quest the Defias messenger bugged out for me yesterday. After i looted the note it disappeared as did the quest. And i'm unable to retake the quest, tried to send several buggreports but i havent gotten any response, so figure i'd try here.

It's been 3 days now i really would like some assistance, enjoyed the server but this really puts me off it. Can someone help me?

Abandon and retake the quest

Problem is there is no quest to abandon since it's not in my questlog. Really getting gutted by this how hard can it honestly be for a GM to just freaking spawn the quest or just give me the followup? Dosent feel like it's something that should take 5 days.

Guess me and my mates are gonna have to go to Kronos. Screw this how can GM's not respond in 5 days?

Possibly because vast majority of complaints about quests come from retards that do not realize they are too low level for a follow-up quest or they are missing prequest or item requirements. Resubmit your GM ticket, daily. It's also not game breaking to just jump over that particular quest - you would be replacing the reward items in few levels anyway and at that point there are more than enough quests to do for XP.

If you still think that this is unacceptable servicey by the Nost team that you are getting for free, then do enjoy your time at currently non-existing Kronos mate.

Note: I'm not saying that Nostalrius has no responsibility to fix issues - I'm pointing out that trivial issues should not be dramatically over-emphasized.

I've had GM's answer my few stuck and so on tickets wihtin minutes of submitting, better times than on Blizz back in the day.Somehow i doubt you've had no response to your tickets in 5 days. You did write a ticket, right?

Yeah i have written a ticket (quite a many actually) Besides those legs from that quest is really good and will probably stick with me for atleast 10 levels so yeah it's kinda of a big deal. The level requierment has nothing to do with me not being able to complete the quest then i wouldent have been able to pick it up anyway, besides it dosent show the grey "!" sign.

The grey ! doesn't show up at all if you're way outside the level range. I'm unsure of the exact requirements but, for example, the Cenarion Enclave guy in Nijel's Point in Desolace is a good example. At level 30, he doesn't have an exclamation mark over his head at all. At level 36, I think, a grey one appeared over him.

Now obviously this doesn't affect your case at all but I wouldn't be surprised if dozens of Alliance players who don't remember or don't know vanilla, have made GM tickets that a quest is bugged and doesn't exist. My view is also supported by the numerous questions in General chats of various zones where people constantly wonder whether an NPC is missing or a quest is bugged and similar things. Meaning that it's entirely possible that GMs are swamped with non-issues which obviously delays the handling of valid tickets.

I've made three tickets, two of which I received reply in under 15 mins, third which went ignored.
