Old accounts on nostalrius

Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask you a question that may be asked 1000 times but i didn't manage to find a subject about it.

The question i have was to know if old accounts have been saved (few years played on the character), i know that for the release that those accounts can't be given back to don't unbalance the game and make it fair for the new players, but can old players expect to get back their old accounts or there's no chance to see them back one day.

You can't get your ancient account back. But leveling with 5k people is way funnier.

How about characters used during Beta?
The Nostalrius beta testers will NOT get their characters at server launch. We want the server to be launched like real retail vanilla servers used to be, where everybody has to start from level 1. The old beta characters could still be imported, but under several hard conditions. This importation should not alter the PvE or PvP progression, should not change the server economy balance, nor come with an sense of injustice from other players. We rather think that it could bring back a lot of old Nostalrius players (more than 20.000 accounts !).
Anyway, these characters will stay unusable a long time after the release (and their names will be reusable).

"Sense of injustice" *laugh*. What about old players' sense of injustice ? Though I respect even more the decision NR has made after reading this.

You are asking on a public forum, not the moderators.

The answer still stays: No. Why should old accounts have an advantage at levelling up here? When you levelled your character there werent 8k people online to fight for quest mobs or ganked by enemy faction.
