Game minimizing

Okay so I was watching a streamer on twitch and wanted to give this a whirl. problem is, i downloaded the game, got everything installed, etc. But when i launch the client, it comes up for like 2 seconds then automatically minimizes and I cant do anything. Click on it again, same thing. Any help?

I have not seen a definitive solution to your issue yet but someone else had the same problem. I suggested something to try and they never responded. Take a look here.

Is it starting in a Window but still minimizing?

Edit: I ask this to verify that it's registering the setting we specified.

I figured it out!. There was this weird combo of that setting and running as admin and trouble shoot thing.

after adding the SETgxWindow "1" to the config.wtf file, if you right click wow.exe, run the troubleshoot compatibility, use recommended settings, then try opening the file and if it still does it, alt+tab over, and the game should launch in a window ... log in, change settings in game, and you should be good

I have a feeling that the SETgxWindow "1" setting may not have been recognized and it may have been fixed by running the compatibility troubleshooter and having it tweak a compatibility setting. Do you mind taking a Screenshot of the Compatibility tab?
