Now I have waited 4x24 hours for a reply from an admin, which feels like a lot to somebody with more than 20 days /played in the servers relatively short life
I know this much so far: My account has been banned because it is believed, that I have bought gold for real money. Is it possible to simple have whatever amount I'm am suspected of having bought subtracted from my in game balance while I wait until an admin has time to review my case?
As explained above, I mostly play as a trader/tradeskiller. After having racked my brain and discussed with guild mates, I can come up with a couple of trades which could look suspicious, and I would be very happy to explain those to a GM/admin. Even summing the value of all "suspect" trades I can think of would amount to less than 20% of my current balance, so being able to actually play the game would (not surprisingly) be worth much more to me. Of course this is also an indicator that I have not in fact bought any gold (why would an already rich guy whose enjoyment comes from earning gold go and buy a bit more gold through illegitimate means?), but right now I'd be happy if I could just be allowed to play

With the increased measures against botting/multiboxing and cheating in general, it is natural to expect a larger number of false positives and people who don't understand why they have been banned. Could it be an idea to have a GM act as an arbiter of appeals? The idea would be that the GM would ask relevant questions of the "accused" and then if the dispute seems reasonable send the prepared "case" on to the admin. This could save some time for the admins, who are understandably very busy.
