Focus on a single object in the room while my character moves and you'll see what I mean. Constant frameskipping is the best way I can describe it. Also in the video, you can see the other issues I'm having, like the buggy turning animation and the misplaced character shadow.

Is this similar to what you're getting, Zmurkz?

Hi, sorry I haven't checked the thread in a while.

Yep, that video is exactly the issue I am having, but mine stutters more than that, it's exactly that kind of stutter though.

Running as admin changed nothing, I also ran with Windows XP service pack 3 compatibility, but it didn't work. I have no idea why it happens :(

Ever tried to add
Code: Select all
 SET gxApi "OpenGL"
(your client will use OpenGL instead of DirectX) in your config.wtf ?
Please use the SEARCH function. Please...

The OpenGL renderer is significantly slower than Direct3D. I gave it a go, and it doesn't do much besides destroy my framerate. Was worth a try though.

Here's another weird thing that happens with my game client (may or may not be related). Often times, the framerate caps out at 100, but on other occasions it goes far beyond that. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it - sometimes it imposes a 100fps cap, sometimes it doesn't. When the framerate is uncapped, the buggy animations aren't quite as bad, but the stuttery motion is still there.

You are losing packets with your connection to the server.

Is this a clientside or serverside issue? Or simply the result of high ping?
