"Disconnected from server" instantly appearing after login

This is my first time attempting to play on Nostralrius and I'm wondering if this happens frequently? I am prepared to accept that it won't be as stable as Blizzard's servers but this making a bad first impression for me...

This has been happening for 2 hours for me. Not sure what causes this, but it's not the first time this has happened to me.

This is the first time this has happened to me. I can't connect at all. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. The admins are probably working on it already.

Since I've been playing, (about a week after launch,) I haven't had any problem getting on Nostalrius, so no it's not always like this--it's actually really rare, which is why people are freaking out.

Same thing, just started playing tonight was hoping to see what i missed, but can't log in. Goes from connecting to disconnect from server, other times i get to authenticating then disconnect. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Same thing for me. Long "Connecting" window but the inevitable, eventual "Disconnected from server".

A GM posted on the Support subforum (top of the page) the login server is down.

He doesnt know by when it'll be up.
