Account closed/banned

Honestly it is more of an annoyance then anything. That I ran into a bug and have had my account banned since Saturday unable to play over something I didn't even do.

I am eager to know the outcome of this. I think it would be an egregious violation to ban a person because of a server bug. People dedicate a lot of time to their characters and to up and lose them over something they indeed did not do is ridiculous. However if it is proved he hacked then screw him along with the other hackers.

Well I received a PM back from Daemon telling me my account should be good to go earlier, but its still closed as of now. So we will see where this goes hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I once flew to TB, I clicked the window down b4 I landed. logged in and was in TB.
After that I went to UC via portal by a mage. mounted up and then the magic started.

I got dismounted, fel halfway through the floor and boom, I was on a windrider and it just took of, through walls and everything.

It started flying far away to the point of fatigue, then turned around and did laps in hillsbrad.
I eventually (about 15 minutes in) was dismounted down by the murlocs east of soutshore.

I won't post the exploit, nor have I tried it to see if it works on this realm, but I remember when Vanilla wow was live, there was a method that would allow you to do this to other players at will. However it required the other player to be doing something specific (yet innocent) for it to trigger.

So here's the question: If you hadn't had the presence of mind to video that, would you just be shit-out-of-luck? Ban permanent, you are welcome to continue on Nost with a new character?

This really worries me. It makes me constantly cautious about everything I do, and I know I break zero rules.

This really worries me. If an unintended bug can get you permanently suspended, am I to just sit and play with my camera on all the time?

I'm not sure I just happened to be on my phone at the time but it would seem that way you would be out of luck even now though I'm still currently banned. It also seems i'm not the only one this has happened to also a few others posted here saying it happened to them before, but didn't say what happened in regards to their account. I can only imagine how upset someone would be if this happened to their account which had a 60 character on it. I'm only level 32 and i'm still upset that i've wasted that time so far in leveling it for a random bug getting me banned.
