Well, they will most likely contact you in the next 4 1/2 hours so sort stuff out. So be patient and wait. You think chances getting higher or lower when waiting couple hours?

If someone has gotten access to your account, then the only chance you've got is to use the password recovery. If they've done damage to your characters and inventory, then they would have done so in the first 15-120 seconds. Staff doesn't and they've said before, can't restore lost accounts. They will respond when they get online none the less, you just need to be patient.

We will not recover characters, equipment or gold from a shared account. Never delete your character "by accident".

The player is responsible for his own account safety. You should:

I have complicated password & this is not a shared acc, i use this password in every game i play the only thing that is changed is username played in countless private servers / retail / most mmos ... & the recover thing is kinda dumb tbh what if this dude keep logging in till 2016 like for real they can check my ip & see if the acc was logged in with another ip & since i have email why cant i just reset my password this is just dumb way to help the hackers , i got hacked in rift , tera ,gw2 but i just recovered my acc in matter of mins using email / verification phone number i dont know why couldnt they just make it simple ( to avoid spam ) like rly wtf

Since you've gotten hacked in other games, whether it's now or previously. Are you protecting your computer from malware? An anti virus program isn't able to detect malware 95% of the time.
