Unable to connect, tried all the tricks.

I had some connectivity issues earlier today that may have been on my end, but it's most definitely down at the moment.

New situation has arisen, it no longer gives me the account banned message, or the unable to connect message. Now it just hangs at authenticating for ~30 seconds before disconnecting me. Tried switching between the two realmlist options with no success. Is the realm still down, or do I have a new issue now?

EDIT: Is there any way to check the server status so we know if issues are server side or client side?

And now it just disconnects me immediately from the server. Any ideas?

This problem has been fixed, please just try to log into your account (if it disconnects you try a couple more times.) We are still investigating further.

Still can't login though. It's back to giving me the "unable to connect message" followed by the "this account has been closed/banned" message. Got finished reinstalling the game again, which didn't do anything. Still wondering if I got banned for some random reason as my friend who was having the same issues as me was now having no problems logging in.
