Also what about global channels, I can't remember myself, but people are saying you couldn't create global channels like /world back in vanilla, so that feature should be removed as well.

You can't ruin the servers popularity but affecting it's playerbase. If people want another server they can wait for it, atm it's what we got and what we work with.

Global channels could be removed but it would make LFG the new world which is not something any of us wants since you can /leave world and play effectively but you can't /leave LookingForGroup and find groups as remotely easy without using trade chat, which is... for trading.

This would be a terrible idea as it could lead to a very lopsided population balance (many people would switch to the most populated side). The only reason Blizzard eventually allowed it was because they knew they could make money from it.

Not at all, if you market yourself as 'blizzlike' and your server is some cross hybrid abomination that has never exsited anywhere before than its clearly just a marketing ploy, a gimmick if you will.

1.12 talents and spells have a far bigger impact on progression and the ease of a MC raid that a few quests/items and a dungeon or 2 do.
