There is a strong chance in the future that most people will not be as patient and tolerant of this as you have been and I sense a few people might speak quite a bit of their mind, which is ok, its good medicine for devs and others planning to undertake projects like this down the road. I just hope most of these situations get ironed out soon enough, cause as time goes by issues can and will pile up and enragement and doubtfulness from players will only grow.

My advice is to log out every time you get an item of worth. That's what I've done and it's kept my item through server crashes. Basically a .save .

The server crashed literally seconds after I looted it. I would have logged out but I couldn't.

That's unfortunate. Sorry for your loss. Hopefully they will fix the rollbacks during server crashes.
