If that was the case, i believe the staff in charge of the ban/appeal section needs to state it and make it clear, more transparancy is needed, not just for the individual that was banned but for the entire community to be aware.

I've seen numerous threads where GMs inform banned players that taking their case to the public forums after having been notified privately of their account status will not change the outcome. There is transparency just not public transparency.

If you cheated/exploited/broke the rules you deserve the ban. If you were told why you were banned then don't pretend you don't know.

However, if you bought the items from the AH using gold you obtained legally, without exploiting or bug abusing, then I'm curious what exactly you got banned for.

He is banned for using the chest bug. He clearly admitted to it just now in this post. Also he created an account to bypass getting banned on his main account. Pretty obvious what he's done wrong, if he can't see it then it's too bad. Now pissoff you exploiting piece of trash.

This thread won't be needed anymore, I made it just in an attempt to get in touch with GMs, which I now realize is done better via PM.

As I said I bought them from AH with gold I farmed legitimately, so calling anyone out without proof is a waste.

It's not required of them to state why they ban you, this is not a court of law. They can ban you for no reason if they'd like. This dingelberry was smart enough to admit why he was banned so they don't need to provide a reason.

you didn't even understand the quote. what he says there is that he bought those daggers in a legit manner, and got banned because the players who sold them to him obtained them from that bugged chest everyone is talking about.
