Me and my buddy got banned for the same reason. We were both nearing lvl 40, don't afk follow someone, especially if you guys are on the same network (IP)

My friend got ban on suspicions and 0 evidence as well. I'm getting very frustrated with all these pointless bans that are removing new players from enjoying the game.

There is no evidence that people are just rando getting banned, and those who complain are being pointed out from the GMs on here to what specifically they did. So pretty much they deserved it.

Kayrn, will we get banned while I play with my girlfriend as I described previously? We can't use follow when we're from the same IP while other people can when they have different IPs? Isn't it strange a bit?

This scares me. Yesterday i was questing with 2 of my friends and we used follow all the time. If i knew you can get a ban for this... To think of it one of them still hasn't logged in since last time.

Sounds to me that you were multiboxing both her and your character while one was doing something else. A new server need's to be strict about these things, set and make examples of people breaking the rules. If she was in redridge, that means she was not that high level, although it takes some time to level to that point, it would be worse if you both were level 60.

I've talked to several GM's many times, and even reported botter's every now and then too, they don't ban people on a whim, they take it seriously, they watch people for a extended period of time, check in on them from time to time, if they are cought breaking the rules over and over again every time they watch then obviously your going to get banned.

In my oppinion the GM's on Nostalrius has been nothing but proffessional, read the rules and respect them, they are here for a reason. Anything that negatively impacts other players on a server and is literally against ToS, should and is a bannable offense.

I wish I could agree. It's very frustrating getting ban when you know full well nothing wrong has been done. But guilty until proven innocent I guess
