2 options here:
a) apply some change that will seriously improve gameplay quality and fun for people and all pvpers will highly appreciate while it does not really change your "blizzlike" dreams in any serious way.
b) keep some poor blizzard choice simply because it is "blizzlike" unless you want to convince us that shooting at boars from behind a tree is what you enjoy the most in this game.

some common sense on top of "blizzlike" would be nice, dont you think?

The blizzlike excusses, the blizzlike lovers
That's why ED died, but ofc ppl don't care

Wow...
(Sorry for off topic)

Anyway, you do realise that there were bugs back in retail even that actually took a lot to fix?

- Pets following stealthed targets
- Perception not detecting stealthed targets
- Escape Artist not removing immoblizing effects

Blabla

So Nostalrious really has to follow the same steps as retail did? Don't be stupid
And yeh makes perfect sense to pvp scene - arrows and spells going kamikaze mode through trees and walls, really

Kill me now pls

you know whats 100% blizzlike?? Retail

If you want 100% blizzlike play experience and that's the only thing you care about go play retail.

Making trees interfere with spell LoS will not hinder anyone's play experience

I assume you guys calling this matter to not be looked into are probably gona do 1 bg in your life but im sorry to burst your bubble we have a PVP Guild with more than 300 active/Ranker members and we joined here to hace quality pvp, we dont care (mostly) about minor quest bugs or other minor things, our biggest prio is PVP and sorry but this is just not happening, playing a BG with no LOS in it is plain stupid and literally going back to vanilla 2005 in all aspects.

Me, as all my comrades from <NOPE> claim the GMS to look into this matter as it is something that will certainly lead us into choose to stay here or not, we re biggest pvp focused guild at the moment ( and prolly ever) on the server and this is just something which will not work for us.

Ive seen GMs fix other minor bugs within days and im grateful for such an awesome job dedication to the PVE content, but i ll say it once more : this is a PRIO thing for PVP focused people and i cant think of anyone who would be against this change.

I support this. Would make Bg's and world pvp a lot more interesting and fun.

Reasons not to implement a bugged line of sight system that has only existed on private servers:

1. It's not blizzlike
2. It has never existed on retail
3. It screws up the balance between classes (making melee classes stronger, ranged weaker)

With the big lack of bonus spell damage on gear with the pre 1.4 stats, I really don't see any reason to gimp casters even more.

whole server idea to mix 1.4 + 1.12 is not blizzlike
look, battlegrounds already released, its not blizzlike aswell, why u r not rioting ?

blizzlike isnt balanced, blizz isnt very well known for their balancing. this makes vanilla slightly more bearable being able to los scrubdust in mid etc.

and it does not make ranged classes weaker, it forces you to play more tactically. its just another element that seperates skill level of players basically. can we stop letting people that dont wsg have an opinion here?

It's a progressive release, having 1.4 stats on items I would say is more "blizzlike" since they're aiming for the retail launch blizzlike. There's only so much they can do with what they got, It's as good as it gets.

This is wrong. Los will allow the underdogs with less gear to possibly escape from the over geared mongaloids. If you honestly believe what you wrote you are either a very very naive person or a hunter butt hurt about loosing his edge
