Can't access PvP server. Can PvE one

Same problem...after smashing that Login button i logged in to just crush exactly 10seconds later

Edit: From what i have heard one of the Ahn'Qiraj opening quests is active and when someone returns the quest the server crashes (nothing official, just what i've heard)

from what i read from another post ... idiots are crashing the server at silithus from handing in an AQ quest. obviously after all these hours they would get it by now ....

Why is the AQ war effort even a thing now? Those quests and NPCs were added when patch 1.9 hit. We are currently not even in Zul'Gurub patch (1.7). Still have that one, and Dragons of Nightmare to go.

Please dev team, focus on the current issues firsts, the class bugs, the scripts that aren't working in dungeons or world quests, and after that, we can follow smoothly the blizzlike release of high level content. A huge amount of people are levelling as we speak, and it's always best to take the time to fix one stepping stone, before moving on to build the next one.

I am also having this issue. Sucks too, I much prefer PvP servers.

Mine is not even that. I am a Guild master in the PvP server already, and I have almost 100 people to talk to on a regular basis for daily issues. I literally have NOTHING to do at all in the PvE server. Server preferences aside, I seriously have squat to do in the one I can log in, and a rapidly increasing number of problems and things to attend to the longer I can't log in to the PvP one.

It would be really NICE if someone from Nostalrius could simply make an announcement (set up an official news forum perhaps?) to the effect that the server is down. If they know more, great, tell us. But, at least let people know that there's nothing wrong with their conneciton/software/computer/whatever.

I'm the kind of player that likes having only one character... I don't spend a lot of time gaming, so I look forward to playing nostalrius. This has been a huge bummer. I was just getting into the swing of it all.

My problem, and I think those of the other two users that could connect to one (but not the other) server seems a bit different though. I had this problem start 24 hours ago, which I think was a moment where the server was running fine.

So far I have:

- Cleared WDB/WTF folders. No results.
- Edited realmlist.wtf once more. No results.
- Uninstalled the client, redownloaded the zip, file, reinstalled. No results.
- Created a second account to try to access the pvp server. No results.

I downloaded the client to a second computer (a desktop I have in this flat), to see if the problem might anyhow be related to my laptop. Will report on that tomorrow morning (23.47 pm here). If the desktop also shows the same problem (can't connect to PvP server, but can connect to PvE one), it basically boils down to one single issue = Technical issues between the specific IP of the PvP server and my new IP (as said earlier, I travelled to my city flat yesterday and am therefore using a new IP).

I already posted in pastebin (check previous page) the tracert and pathping results between my new IP, and both of the IPs Nostalrius provides in their connection/config thread. Could any tech person please take a look at them and tell if they show an issue?
