It was a warrior, I made a mistake to conclude it was a rogue lol. But still, stealth has issues.

I don't really think stealth has issues other than the Stealth dropping on aggro & no warning when mobs are about to detect you. But we'll see when we'll be 60 and do more PvP and when these two bugs are fixed.

Isn't it just related to the bug regarding Stealth itself ? LIke the mobs unstealth you when they detect you (no warning, and no need to take damage or anything, just right when you're in combat) ? Cause against most mobs that are your level, you have to be close enough to be able to ambush, which means if the mobs turns around he'll see you right away, and thus unstealth you given the current bug.

it's an issue not with mobs but with players

it's like you go in for the ravage/ambush, hit the button, and at that exact moment your target turns 90 degrees so you're no longer behind them. so your ambush fails to go off, but rather than getting a "you must be behind your target" error message, you're removed from stealth as if the ambush was successful

it happens to me CONSTANTLY

Oh. It is indeed quite different from what I suggested.
I recall this bug happening a long time ago during beta and then being fixed :'(.

Great job on the list!
My feeling aswell, is, although un-tested, that indeed the current detection range should be the range at wich they notice you, then further 15%-25% in (thoughts anyone?) should the aggroing occur.
On a diffrent note, although not directlya rogue bug, can we add the lack of thrown weapons vendor on the list? I think that it affects us rogues the most, at some levels anyhow.
Also, has anyone tested MoD throughly? Thanks.

Edit: forgot about the pickpocket bugs: 1-mobs can be pickpocketed for up to 8 times the amount of coin they drop, whereas they should have roughly the amount they drop, in their pockets. This has no doubt been exploited at higher level already - imagine the yield on a high-level dungeon pickpocket run? I've seen this on other serbers result in rogues with king-sized epic-mount "stables". Not cool imho.
2-if in a party(with group loot on, would be ineresting totest master loot), the pickpocketed loot gets shared between party members, this should not be so, the rogues should get all the loot.

Weazool: Re: Your edit: Do you have any proof of that? Either A) that rogues pickpocket amount should be less than it is or B) that rogues pickpocket amount should not be shared in groups.

A *and* B. I'll dig up some proof on the pickpocketed amount, but in the mean time, i have no doubt other rogues from vanilla can validate this. Both the pickpocketed amount being less, and not being shared in groups

The rogue there talks about pickpocketing in classic (mentions level 60) even though it's a few months after TBC's release

But seriously now, this stuff is pretty scarcely documented on the internet, a bunch of us rogues that played then testifying to this should suffice as proof, step up guys. You want easy coin more than you want it blizzlike?

I played Rogue on retail and remember stealth being a little wonky with regards to a few things so I don't know if some of these issues I'm about to describe are just the way things were or actual bugs but here goes.

-Multishot hitting stealthed targets: I know this was something that was WAI in vanilla but then was fixed in patch 1.11. A hunter ganking me in Ashenvale Hunter's Marked me and starting autoattacking me, I Vanish to remove the HM and escape. He uses multishot on a nearby mob his pet was fighting and I am unstealthed. This is the only time this has happened to me so I'm wondering if anyone else can confirm this and if it's supposed to be that way.

-If a Hunter or Warlock commands his pet to attack you while you are unstealthed and then you stealth after leaving combat/Vanish, the pet will still see you and attack you: This happens all the time and its pretty frustrating to get out of combat and think I'm safe only to be unstealthed and die.

Combo points disappearing, when you switching targets. It means if you have 1-5CP on 1st target, and switching on 2nd for Blind or Kick, or just switching(not using any abilities), when you gain focus on 1st target again, yours CP's disappears. Please fix it, it's so TERRIBLE and UNPLAYABLE in both aspects of the game(pvE and PvP).
