for me I also mute without warning if spam is too excessive.
people know that they are spamming too much it is not like a complex math problem.
we monitor the chat after a report, and if the spam is just some spam we send a message.

so what is exactly the problem, a 4k minutes mute was turned into a 3 hour mute which is normal after (excessive) spamming.

Like seriously Twist, why the f do you keep arguing for silly reasons?
He was banned for 3 hours at the end and whatever the message said in the beginning does not matter.
And, honestly, i would ban spammers for 5 days. But a complete account ban so they are unable to even log in.

Eh, these GMs are about to wreck the server imo, they have a wild west attitude on regulations, and well, some of you are drinking the kool-aid just fine, According to ToS something like spamming is supposed to be a Warning first, on your "Second Offense" you'd receive a 1 Hour Mute - So even 3 hour mute is excessive on the punishment here, unless he's a repeat offender. If you have a ToS written up, the GMs should follow the punishments laid out in it. And I'm sure you kool-aid drinkers gonna troll this post, but it's pretty simple to just follow the rules on what punishment to dish out, otherwise you do end up with some GM in a bad mood doing something that someone doesn't deserve "HEY MAN I STUBBED MY TOE SO YOUR BANNED" stupid shit like that. Check yoself before you wreck yoself
