Let me start by saying there is a lot of "grey area" in what this staff will/won't ban for. (ie. certain guilds resetting their raid id and farming multiple instances of molten core/onyxia) without getting banned even after being warned, etc... then next week 50+ accounts are closed for farming relic coffers (some players banned for farming less than 40 gold over a period of 1 hour while not breaking the instance cap).

Why not throw out a warning to players doing the exploit? Why not simply remove the coffers like other servers? Why not move the boss meant to guard the coffers further back into the room so it actually works as intended? Was banning 10 players from a single guild and multiple other rogues from other guilds the most advantageous solution, unlikely for all parties involved, especially when its not bannable anywhere else, why without specific warning is this any different?

All I'm saying is that it seems rather harsh for a bunch of first time offenders who never even knew that they were exploiting.

This.
I see guilds who abused raid lockouts remain unharmed, yet people get banned for things that can't be even be compared to having a serious gear advantage over others.
I question this behaviour of the staff because all it does is it shows their favouritism and the fact that they act randomly on really vague subject in their ToS.

They seem to be very selective with how they deal with things. Absolutely not transparency or explanations, they refuse to answer questions from the player base. As I first said in another post, they simply swept it under the carpet and will now ignore it like it never happened at all.

Do we get to find out whether or not this is a permanent ban or just temporary? Papertank made a mistake which lead to this. He has learnt from it and just wants to move on. Please un-ban him.
