Could we get some insight on this? Why was he banned while playing with his wife? It is because the GM instantly had the assumption of multi-box and didn't actually address the situation? Everyone makes mistakes, and GMs aren't above gods themselves.

the gm wouldve monitored him for long enough to know, because all he needed to do was watch for more than a few minutes and it was obvious what was going on

Yeah, I don't really see an issue here. I play with 2 other friends and a sibling almost all the time. If one of us go AFK, which can be anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes each time, we follow each other for the duration of that AFK. That being said, this happens quite often. We've got kids and whatnot to take care of, so AFK'ing is a frequent necessity. None of us have been banned for doing this. I think the staff members are able to distinguish legit players from ToU abusers. Just saying.

You're not completely wrong. Depends how you look at it. Two same LAN IP's? Absolutely not. Same WAN IP? Yes. Definitely possible.

Yeah I don't know how the gms are working but i bet they're really busy with this population, I could tell when i saw her getting this whisper she was banned within a minute. And if they did monitor either of us that whole day they'd still get the same result. We met in redridge 12.00, she got banned 12:23 where as the conversation is recorded and saved in WiM. I offered pictures of us and our computer setup next to eachother. We can have our clients running and write Nostalrius in the accoutname to prove that it's not some random picture.

My point, I'm doing what I can for her but It's very limited sadly. I'm not sure why you're trying to keep her from playing when you state that you don't report players who ganks you nor care it seems a bit odd. And saying that i'm making up a good story when I'm doing my best to prove what actually happened, That's not fair. I can only do what i can.

It's been a week and it's still hard for me to explain why she got her account closed. I doubt she'll have the spirit to play the game again however this may end.
