Glad to know it's not just me.

I've encountered this problem before and the problem was that the game files had corrupted. I simply reinstalled the game and it worked fine. I did that again this time, and still can not progress past the Retrieve Character List screen, so I guess we'll just have to wait for a fix.

I log in but if I log out to switch characters, I'm screwed from then on! It just has me stuck at "Retrieving character list".

this happens to me constantly, and when i do get in.. character list is quick to respond, but i get no response from the server once in game.

i can't cast spells, i can't talk to chat channels.. and when i do start to move around, i get disconnected and reset to the original position...

but i can see general chat talking.. i just can't talk back... so im not totally with out a connection.. just enough to make me unable to do absolutely anything..

so to add on to my previous post... i think im experiencing bandwidth throttling by the server.

i log in... and i can deal with the fly master or vendor, or auction house.. for about 6-10 seconds... before i think my connection gets throttled down to the point that the server is pretty much unresponsive.

and then i get disconnected when i try to demand server updates for positioning of myself or NPCs or other PCs around me.

relog, and keep experiencing the same issue over and over... if it was purely my internet connection or latency, or packet loss, or whatever... it would not be this identifiable and repeatable.

Me and two friends are having this problem right now. None of us can log in. We've tried closing completely, even using different PCs.
