If this is considered a bug and is bannable we can expect the lack of LoS with WSG tree stumps (which is a blizzlike bug that isn't gonna get fixed anytime soon) a bannable offense when it's abused I guess ?

Or is there absolutely no logic at all in how such retail vanilla aspects of the game are handled ?

As much as i like to see neck beard nerds getting permabanned I still think this is stupid and unrighteous ban. I mean if it really is Felwood stuff it's freaking stupid. Someone above said that every major raiding guild does this and thats not true. Not everyone feels the need to have every possible consumable + buff in game to clear MC. Problem is that picking up felwood buff twice or so more than 1 person gets those isn't major bug abuse imo. I Mean queueing to AV in 40 man raid is more major bug abuse than this (talking about most policy not if its blizzlike or not). I mean heal pots that ppl in grand marshal gear gets like 5% of their HP back that are BoP so you cannot even sell them or get any MAJOR benefit from them. Those ppl got MINOR benefit from those so logically its MINOR bug abuse.

I think that the Nostalrius GM staff should be a little more transparent if they decide that a standard practice from retail is going to be considered a bug on here, and make an announcement instead of people finding out by getting the ban hammer.

since the gms never actually said the reason, no one really knows if this was the reason. considering this was done during vanilla (blizzard never handed out any mass bans for it or fixed it) and a large population of players are doing it here, people want to know if its still safe to use.

Well I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because I sincerely doubt they would lie about the reason as it would only make them look stupid in the end if the GM's released what "actually" happened.

And I seriously doubt that Slipry, Monkey and Ranal would do something they knew was bannable, clearly they thought duping whippers wasn't. Why would they risk their 100+ days character for something so dumb.
