Entered wrong PW too many times and got banned

I was disconnected and put in the wrong password too many times apparently and was banned. Is there any way of undoing the ban?

Its only a temp ban.
you can retry it after 1 hour, but be sure to type in the password correctly after that.. i heard that with each try after that you get another lockout for an hour.

havent had this issue myself so im only posting what i heard.
