Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Each time while in Silverpine, walking from direction of UC, when trying to cross the bridge - game crashes.

ERROR #131 (0x85100083) File Corrupt

I disabled all the addons, i deleted WTF and WDB cache, restarted... No change.

I can move back..sideways...but when i want to move beyond certain point (imagine a line where the bridge starts) even if i want to move onwards on some terrain other than the bridge - game crashes.

Game works fine on other characters, with the addons enabled and everything.

Went to check retail forums, found a thread from 2011 with some green and a blue response about this error - did not help much, also the year (game version) is not the same.

Any advice?

Strange that it would crash for one character but not others.

The error's pretty straightforward: file corruption. Have you tried uninstalling, deleting all loose files after the uninstall, and a clean reinstall?

Well i "reinstalled" the game. It works now. Wish i knew how to avoid this, not make it happen again.

Could've just been a bad install from the beginning. Not very often that happens, but it can happen nonetheless. Hopefully this install is clean going forward, but if you get the crashes again, make a note to see whether it's the same error or different. If you're seeing a pattern to the type of error you're getting, another software on your PC might be interfering with or damaging your WoW installation files. Just something to consider.
