Can log in but Unable to connect to realm

Hi there,

Just having an issue for the past few hours. I can log into with my details, "success" comes up, but I cannot log into Nostalrius Begins. I can see the realm list, I can see the number of characters, but again cannot log into realm.

Can a GM p.m me and help out?

so I removed all addons - still stuck on realm connection.

Reinstalled WoW using the official nost installer - still able to log in with my account, but stuck on realm connection.

are you sure you are not trying to log into test realm?

So I created a second account to test and I'm getting the same problem. Stuck at "Logging into game server" so it's not account based. Must be something with my client/connection but I dont see how it basically worked perfectly fine yesterday and today it stopped. Even after a fresh install - I get the same problem.

Maybe it's a internet exchange problem or something? Is anyone in Australia experiencing similar problem?

Still experiencing the problem. Reinstalled several times, tried set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org - no change. Running out of ideas. Very bizarre that it was working perfectly yesterday but this morning this problem started occurring. There's been no windows updates or any kind of change in circumstances to cause this.

ok so final update. Ive tried everything client related (reinstalled, changed servers, changed realmlist.wtf, removed all addons etc.) nothing fixed it. I changed realmlist to kronos and instantly logged in and created a char.

Either server problem with my account, or something to do with internet gateways trying to connect from Australia.

Kronos works fine so im geussing theres nothing wrong client side for me.

It's not totally unusual. You can try the VPN proxy service cyberghost. It has a free component in which i believe you can switch your IP to France.

A couple of people were geting hung up at an interchange in canada, could be the same for you. It is also possible that over time it will work itself out.

You should check the following things:
- do you have a firewall blocking some connection ?
- send me a "tracert" to IPv4 5.196.82.39 (realm address)
