Disconnecting twice and getting suspended/banned?

I'm confused as to what just happened now. I logged onto my level 9 mage, Freezeburn, got disconnected after a few seconds. Figured it was my internet acting up again, and tried again. I walked out of the inn at Goldshire before getting disconnected once again. Third attempt to get back on was rewarded with an account suspension notice.

What'd I do to get banned?

Oh, alright. In that case I'm thinking maybe my VPN set it off or something. I was watching some movies via Popcorntime.io with a VPN.
