Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So when I started playing here I made an account on the website but couldn't log into the game, so I had my friend make an account for me. With this account I was able to log into the game and start playing, but I have no idea what the email address registered to the account is, or what the website password and account name is.
I think the email is just some random shit, and not an actual real email
The account I'm making this thread from has no affiliation with the account I'm currently playing on in-game is.

TLDR; Playing on game account that I don't have access too anywhere but in game.

Could an admin PM me so I can tell you the account name of my in-game account? That way we could figure out and hopefully change the registered email address to my own and get the details for website login.

The forum and in-game accounts are separate, and therefore not the same information.

Okay, so they are in no way connected to each other? What I would want to change my in game account's password in case I was compromised?

Have you considered asking your friend for the email adress?
if he used his own adress for your account and didnt make a new one you should maybe make a new account yourself. Create a new email for yourself, ask your friend to make the account based on your email. Problem solved!

Are you required to verify your email? If not, he probably used an unserious email like "[email protected]" or something like that.

And I won't make a new account as I'm halfway to level 47.

By the way, the reason I didn't make my own account was that I thought the forum account was the one you used in game, and not the account that you could make by scrolling all the way down on the homepage of the website.
My friend said he could log in after making an (in-game)account, I thought he meant that he could log into the game with his forum account.
I had him make an account for me so we could play as I thought my shit was obviously broken, and it was not until I had played for a very long time that I realized I couldn't log onto the forum with my in-game account.
