Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey guys, since low level I have been planning how to get exalted with Darnassus before 60 since cloth turn ins are not in the game yet and I want to save the money on my epic mount. However I am experiencing a bug where quests that reward "Alliance" reputation are not increasing my reputation with any of the Alliance factions. I noticed this while doing 3 of the Cauldron quests and All Along the Watchtowers in Western Plaguelands. I am 5k rep away from exalted and I am going to need every drop of rep from the "Alliance" quests to get there. Any help or suggestions you could offer would be fantastic.

Solved, apparently no quests with "Alliance" reputation rewards grant any reputation at all before patch 1.7.
