im moveing on sorry guys. i like this servers idea but stuff like this is just irritating.

redarding the account name i know that his acc is imature but i know he diddent link any gold selling site nor spammed it. he was asking for a tp to darnassus but he diddent get it he then logged out of the game and came back after 5min tried to log in again becouse me and my friends asked him as we needed him for a deadmines run.

maybe next time you guys should send an email to the account about the reason of the closure and not just outright close it. im gonna leave the server with my friends im sorry it had to go this way as this server is well made but the support and with no clue why some accounts are closed/banned its uneasy allot of players are in fear of haveing there account closed or banned some just stop playing as they dont want to invest allot of time in there char and then poof gone.

i hope you can forward this message to the other admins/game masters i feel you guys got allot to work on and i hope that you guys work on it or this server will die quick.

your friend indeed linked a gold selling website in public channel (apart from the massive spam in public channel he did). Game Master only stick to the rules :

E - Permanent ban.: Most serious sanction. Permanent bans are rare but definitive. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruption, as well as any of the following:

Examples:

Hacking;
Using any botting program;
Abuse of major in-game bugs;
Possession of any item(s) obtained with illegal methods;
Any client modification (libraries, executables, MPQ, etc.);
Revealing the identity of a Nostalrius Begins staff member;
Advertising for other private servers or gold selling websites;
Selling/Buying accounts, gold, items or any ingame services with real money;
Publishing a software, methods or articles on cheating which can be applied on the server.

it wasent intentional then. and there are ppl who are spamming trade chat with that gold selling crap still. please make it so that the account email gets a email explaining what had happen as my cousin diddent know what had happen and was upset.

as i said i like the server allot well made but the lack of request reset passwork and getting an email and appeal to a perm ban is what makes this server feel less good.

I am, however, impressed that you know everything you friend does to be able to verify that he didn't do what more than 1 GM confirmed he did. I'm also impressed that he wasn't intentional in his advertising for a gold site.

We don't take banning lightly and isn't done without verification. I'm sorry your friend did something to get himself banned, but please don't be mad that your friend broke our rules and we handled it exactly as we say we would according to our Terms of Use.

You are free to continue playing here and so is your friend. Simply follow our Terms of Use like THOUSANDS of other players do and I don't foresee any complications.

As for the current players that enter trade advertising gold selling sites, they are usually dealt with fairly quickly. Any that are not dealt with immediately eventually get perma-banned as well.

We are not obligated to send emails to players who earn a perma-ban. By playing on this server, you agree to follow our Terms of Use. If you violate them, you are subject to be punished according to the punishments listed in our Terms of Use.

The password reset is a legitimate feature we are looking into adding into the website, but for now players are able to do so in-game.

Players are also able to appeal a perma-ban, but that doesn't mean that are automatically going to be approved. Most are not approved because they did something that violated our rules to warrant a perma-ban. Perma-bans are applied to the account so you are free to make a new account if you are willing to follow the rules.

i understand the terms of use and all that i know all ppl can have a bad day, il talk to my cousin about it but he is hard to motivate as he likes to play on high rate servers like x14 etc and i really had to nag to him about begining to play on this server and give it his all.

i dont know if he did link a url in that message if he did he prob took at existing macro and had that url to the gold selling site there and forgot to delete it.

dont ask me why he had it i dont know hes only 15 and we all can make misstakes but i hope that you guys can somehow unban him as he liked his rogue and for once picked a ok name compared to what he usally picks. and if you deside to unban him witch i think is highly unlikely can you then please change his password if he links you what password he wants. i will talk to him about be more careful and stop useing the passwords/words he uses ingame.

i am also sorry for leaveing but i really like this server this is so well made its so vanilla like, and i like it so mush i found a ok guild that made me feel like Violent Noice do on Defias Brotherhood EU, im an officer of that guild on retail with good lads/lass but sadly irl stuff makes it hard for me atm to help run that guild to its glory, and id like to keep playing on this server and make one of the best guilds out there. But id like to still play with my friends/family as you can guess.

i diddent mean to make a novel here but oh well.

Permanent means no appeal.

Just like real life, when you break a law you will pay regardless of your familiarity with the laws. Ignorance is not a defense. Really 95% of the rules rely on common sense and/or the ability to not act like a prick.

And just like in real life when you whine and say you're leaving with all your friends( cousins, girlfriends, family) because you don't like it, we are all thinking the same thing my friend. Just leave already and stop being such a whiney litle child.

Stay and play if you want, but just like in real life: grow up and stop being that whiney child. Assume proactive responsibility, take your lumps as they are dealt and be an honorable person.
