This is Insane

I've never had more difficulty connecting to a supposedly working realm. I make an account, keep getting Unable to Connect. Following the FAQs, I try other passwords I sometimes use (though I knew what my actual one was..) and now I'm banned...

I make another account, but wait it's an IP ban.

I have literally never logged into this server and I have been banned. I'm sure it's some sort of overzealous DDoS system, but I doubt any reasonable person would think I was trying to DDoS by trying to log in 6-7 times.

Apparently it was a time out that's expired on my main account, but I'm still getting Unable to Connect. I know it's going to the right address since when I intentionally mistype my password, it says the credentials are incorrect. Not sure what's going on.

What's the exact message you get, word for word, when you type in both an account name and password that you know are 100% correct? And what's the exact message you get, word for word, when you type in an account name you know is correct but intentionally use an incorrect password?

Reason I ask is because when I intentionally use an incorrect password, I don't get any type of message that informs me "my credentials are invalid." In fact, of all the error messages I've seen connecting to Nostalrius, there is no such message. When I use an incorrect password, I routinely get "Unable to connect."

It almost sounds like you're running a different client version, not 1.12.1.
