i get banned all the time

hi. i am unable to log in to any off my accounts. i get that i am banned. account names. fhleea and rinorn.

i startet a 3 account and when i tryed to log in to that for the first time, the game told me that this account also was banned.. can i please get some help?

It sounds like you are trying a wrong password. That will temporarely ban your account for 30 (?) minutes to prevent brute-force attacks.

Try again in 30 minutes, and meanwhile be sure you use the correct password - and check your password is no longer than 15 characters.

hi tnx for reply. this have been going on for 2 days now. i created a new account, i am 100% sure i used the right login and password. and om my first log in attempt i get that my account has been banned:/i have deletet the game and reinstallet it 3-4 times and i have tried the solutions on the sticky forum,but i just cant get it to work

Have you tried opening NotePad or any other text editor and typing out your password the way you remember it when you registered your account to confirm every letter and/or number is typing correctly?

If so, you can try copying/pasting your password from NotePad into the Account Password field on the login screen. Do the above (Type out your password in a text editor), highlight it, right-click, and select "Copy." Open WoW and when the login screen appears, type in your Account Name and, when clicking into the Account Password field, press and hold the "Ctrl" button then press the "V" button on your keyboard. This will paste your password in the field, then you can try logging in and see if it makes a difference.

If it still doesn't work past this, it sounds like it's a more complex problem. You could also try registering an account with a very simple password (E.g.: "abcde") to see if it lets you login. If it does, you can always change your password once in the game itself.

The first 2 you've mentioned have never been banned. You must be having some other kind of issue. Did you fail the password too many times?

its not the password thats the problem. my accounts are always banned. i have tried makinga easy accounts, whit easy passwords, and as soon as i try to logg in. they are banned. this is fucked up. there is more people having this problem.and evertytime someone posts about it, they are told to look in the support forum for the answer. well....thers nothing about the issue in the forum-.- going back to that crappy WOD now... atleast i get to play it..altho it sucks

I don't mean to sound rude, but it's a very small fraction of players experiencing this problem. This type of issue is almost certain to be on the client's end. There's over six thousand people that successfully log into and play on Nostalrius everyday without getting their accounts banned at login and new accounts are constantly being registered and connected everyday. There's a slew of factors that can play into why someone might have connection problems with Nostalrius: firewall, router configurations, proxies, your location, your ISP, other ISPs that route your data to and from the server hosted in Europe, governments possibly blocking traffic, etc.

If you're experiencing a connection/login problem, you've got to give us something to work with: screenshots, exact error messages word-for-word, your exact steps you're doing when you're getting an error so others can try to reproduce or diagnose the problem, location you're connecting from, traceroutes, pathpings, etc. All of these are crucial in giving others insight so they can help narrow down the cause of your problem. You can't just make a thread saying all your accounts are instantly banned and expect others to magically figure out why. Nobody ever said the answer is guaranteed to be in the Support forum. The Support forum exists to aid in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and possible resolution of a problem, whether successful or not.

If you still wish to figure this out, a good starting point I believe would be the exact error message you get when trying to login with an account you know you're using the correct password for. Exact message, word-for-word.

No problem. I don't mean to be curt with replies. I work in IT support outside of Nostalrius so I'm used to getting "It doesn't work; fix it!" requests and being very direct with people. A screenshot would be great along with steps of exactly what you're doing to get that error (Like opening WoW and only logging in once then getting the error, or twice before you get it, etc.).
