Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Greetings,

I'm a brand new player connecting from Los Angeles. I made an account under the name talrain and despite entering the correct password am getting 'Unable to Connect'.

I've tried intentionally entering the wrong password and have been told my login was incorrect, thus I'm certain I know my correct password. I've tried everything in the Solutions for Connection Problems topic including removing WDB and WTF. My realmlist is set realmlist login.nostalrius.org

I know I am making some sort of connection to the server since I'm getting a different response between my correct password and incorrect one.

Does anyone know what the issue is? Please feel free to look up my account and attempt to login yourself. I even made a second account and have been experiencing the same issue. Very frustrated and don't want to go back to my old server.

Are you using a proper 1.12.1 game client or the official Nostalrius client? Check the bottom, left corner of the login screen; it should show the version number (Needs to be 1.12.1) and date stamp (Sept 2006).

UPDATE: The new password reset feature is now live. If you're still getting errors during login, try resetting the password using the e-mail address you registered your account with. Make sure it's less than 16 characters in length.

I'm having the same problem as well. Mine could be that my password is too long. I've been eagerly awaiting a password reset from an admin.

Mhm. Affirmative. I've used this client on many 1.12.1 servers in the past several years. Nostalrius is the only one that I've had a problem with.

Anyone (particular an administrator??) know what's happening?

i have double checked your account details, and you have never been banned.

Aye. I've never even been able to log on :/

Thus my frustration. Correct credentials = Unable to Connect; incorrect credentials = Wrong name and password alert.... So I know my client is at least talking to the server.

Thanks for looking into my account. I still have no clue why I can't log on however.
