Not just 1 but 3 guys tried to ninja that bow, just one was succesfull : icastspells.

Well i think there is a big difference betwen codice need, need means need, and a mage, or a priest, etc doesnt need a bow like a hunter does.
I hope this will be resolved...

The winner of the roll received the loot. Don't see an issue here.

If you don't agree with them rolling against you on certain gear, never group up with them again.

GMs won't ever help you with this.

If you really don't see the issue between N (need) and G (greed), you have a problem.
He says clearly he wants the item to sold it, that's called G not N.

The GMs wont help you with this. Unfortunately on here, need for $$ = need for equip. So next time run with guildees.

In a PUG, there are no real hard and fast rules generally. I see people need on gems or greens they can't equip all the time. When you get to the scale of an epic item, as said above, everyone needs gold, it's quite hard to come by on this server though most other means.

A true ninja situation is someone using ML, or everyone agreeing to roll greed and the last person chooses need, to prevent players from even having a chance to win an item IMO. You had your chance to roll and lost. It sucks and I'd be bumming as well, but it's not near the threshold of a ninja situation.

Further, given the value of the item vs the fact that it is not a endgame weapon, I personally would be unlikely to equip something like that. IMO any time something BoE and valuable drops, everyone should roll need in a PUG. As said, if you want consistency, you need to be with a trusted group.
