Unable to Connect

Let me start off with saying I read the beginner's guide and the unable to connect wasn't helping me. I have been having this problem ever since I started and it is not a password problem due to it randomly going away and randomly getting the error message again. Typically I just have to wait it out and eventually it will go away. I am not sure why it is doing this but it is quite the nuisance. Does anyone have any way I can fix this?

Do you have any anti-virus or security software with real-time protection or scans scheduled to run while you play? If so, have you tried disabling them?

UPDATE: The new password reset feature is now live. If you're still getting errors during login, try resetting the password using the e-mail address you registered your account with. Make sure it's less than 16 characters in length.

I've been having the same issue. I have 2 accounts, and when I try to log into my second account it comes up with "Unable to Connect" and then after that my first account comes up with "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use" even though it was previously working.

I think it may have to do with the second accounts password. Is there any way to change it?

Thank you for your help Joe but I have figured out the problem. My password is lengthy so I believe that is the issue. I have private messaged the admins so hopefully they will get back to me about a password reset.
