Lost Item After Server Disconnect

During a group dungeon run through Shadowfang Keep - ( 21 May 2015 ) - the rare dagger 'Meteor Shard' dropped from the final boss. I received the loot through a need roll and equipped the dagger. Approx 20 secs later the entire group was disconnected from the server. The group was unable to reconnect for about 2-3 minutes. After re-logging I found that the dagger 'Meteor Shard' had disappeared.
Character name: Aeur, Night Elf Rogue.
I recieved 'Meteor Shard' around 17:45 and 17:52 GMT (So 18:45 - 18:52 Servertime?)
The DC occured during this timeframe.
I have no screenshot of me receiving the item as I was not expecting the DC, but I have a screenshot (attached) of my character in the dungeon where the boss was looted directly after re-logging and discovering I no longer had 'Meteor Shard'.
I know this is a massive long shot but I'm really gutted about losing the item and was hoping there is a chance the server might have logged my character looting the item or have any proof my character received the item before being DC'd so the item could be restored to my character.
