[Question] .Save feature

A few mins ago (45 mins) The server experienced a crash. just before that I was questing on my Paladin in Teldrassil. I had been farming Blackmoss the Fetid - level 13 Rare Timberling (elemental). When it finally spawned I killed it to loot [Moss-twined Heart]. Shortly after the server had crashed. When I logged back on, the item, the quest, and the Mob was gone. I tried to make an ingame ticket but it immediately vanished.

Reading posts I have come to notice you guys don't restore such item since they are not EPIC items from RAID bosses. Now I have to wait aprox 2h, 22min for the respawn (assuming somone doesn't tag the mob before I do).

On most private servers they have a ".Save" feature. Nost doesnt use any save commands. I have a mod that always does a .save when I loot any item.

I wish to know if you plan to implement a feature as such to prevent an error on the servers part when I myself did everything correct, and you don't offer any such restoration when this was a server, not client error.

I would like to add I waited yet again to get the rare elite and got the quest
I still wish to know about a .save feature to deal with the instability of the server. If the server crashes are temp, then so should these restorations.
I know the server is doing their best, let's keep it that way
Edit: I will add you had yet another server crash. Please work diligently on the stabilty

Hey JCarrill0,

If you get an item worth keeping then log out for 30 seconds and it should save your character.

Very good point! I will mention thought you should not have to work around such issues because of a server issue.
We should be to play without having to save our own toons. That is the servers job, not ours!
I myself do such things to maintain but it is very frustrating that the server does not work harder for something that should be standard

A .save command is very heavy for the server. People usually make a macro and always spam it and it hurts the server a lot. That's why there is a timer for saves.
