Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Despite the fact that my Leatherworking is currently at 250 and I am level 40, for some reason the quest chain to receive the Wild Leather patterns is not appearing. I have already received the quest to begin tribal leatherworking, however without the wild leather patterns I cannot complete it. I have been checking in with the quest giver Pratt Mcgrubben since my leatherworking originally reached 225 and my character was level 35 at that time. I have checked at every level advance, but have seen nothing of this quest.

I have recently conversed with a number of other Leatherworkers who have told me that they simply received the quest in question upon visiting Feathermoon Stronghold, but I still cant get it for whatever reason.

Did you actually try to right click on the NPC to talk to him? Because the Yellow ''!'' did not appear, but when I talked to him all the quests were there.

Also, Vanilla DB says it requires lvl 42 to get the quests, that might just be your problem

Yeah I have talked to him many times. I even completed the yeti fur quest he gives but still no wild leather quest.

Most everything I have seen indicates that it requires 37ish. Also I have received the Tribal leatherworking quest which I'm not supposed to able to get until after I do the wild leather quest chain.

I'm having the same problem. I'm level 40, have 225 LW, but can't see the Wild Leather Armor quest. When looking it up, the quests required 35 or so, maybe the info I found was wrong?

Edit: My info was wrong. I had to hit level 42 before accepting the the chain (and level 43 for the chest one for some reason). It makes no sense that the tribal LW quest is at 40 when the things needed for it require you to be 42 (outside of the AH), but whatever.

Anyone know a solution to this one? I'm lvl 42, skill 220 (same lvl as the first recipe you get from the chain), all he offers me is the first yeti quest. If the requirements are different, it'd be good to know what they are.

I assume it must actually be in the patch the PVE server is running, since higher lvl people are selling Devilsaur gear, and wild leather is a pre-req for learning tribal LW.

Edit: I got it at lvl 43 and 225 skill, so possibly for me the skill lvl was the requirement I was missing, even though the earliest reward requires a lower skill lvl.
