two different WoW Clients on Mac, big problem :-(

Can you please help me with installing the Classic WoW Client on my Mac (without changing anything on my WoD WoW Client).
Is it possible to copy the folder with all dara and then patch this extra folder back to 1.12.1?
And if it is, how can I do this?
I already downloaded a 'Classic WoW 1.12.1 Mac OS X client', but it says, that WoW is already installed on my pc. I know that..
But I want to play the current WoW (WoD) AND the Classic WoW on your private server. I don't want them to influence each other...
Please help me! (You can also answer with German language)
