Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Downloaded the 5.97GB World of Warcraft 1.12.1 OSX file from the google drive link posted in the "download for mac" post/configuration page. I also downloaded the realmist.wtf file. I checked to make sure the realm list was set to the proper nostalrius.org. I also tried deleting the WTF file and WDB. I also updated my system after repeated tries. Still no luck. Every time I try to open the WoW application from the folder a black screen comes up with the armored glove cursor but nothing else. I wait a few minutes and then force quit. Any suggestions? I've also deleted the entire file and downloaded again twice. No luck there. Any suggestions or help would be awesome as I'm stoked to play. I also know there are other that are having the same issue. Thanks!

If it says: set realmlist login.nostalrius.org

inside your realm list.wtf file, try copying and pasting this with textedit over whatever is in your config.wtf file:

This did work!

I copy and pasted that into both the realmlist.wtf and config.wtf files and now it works! thanks so much! I feel like a lot of people experience this, so this should be awesome for the community!

My WTF folder is empty and i dont see a realmslifst.wtf file

realmlist.wtf is not located in your WTF folder but the folder where the executable is.

Before you see the WTF folder, you should see a realmlist.wtf file.

If you do not see a realmlist.wtf file, simply create one by altering the saved filetype to .wtf.
