Mouse isn't working

I just downloaded the client and everything runs smoothly but when I open up the game my mouse does not move, i am able to login using the tab button then it it asks me to select a realm list and i can't do that because my mouse doesnt move lol, I tried setting my text area or whatever its called to very small but that didnt work either, my mouse has always worked fine on retail wow.
