ON MAC, CAN'T GET PAST RETRIEVING CHARACTER LIST

Hi, I'm trying to play on a mac, and everything runs smoothly until i try to get into the character creation screen, but i am constantly stuck on 'Retrieving Character List'.

Ah, i just waited long enough and i got into the character list, so theres not really a problem.

I'm actually having the same issue right now on a PC.

I waited long enough for the Retrieving Character Screen to process, it brought me to the character list where I then chose my character, and now I can't get through the loading screen. =/

When you get into the game, click the "Social" button on your toolbar, click the "Who" tab, and click the "Refresh" button. How many active players are playing right now? Seems the "Retrieving Character List" message appears for long durations when there's a large number of players actively playing.

Well considering I logged in once almost instantly when there was more than 7K, I think there might be a more bigger issue with the stability of the auth server.

When I logged in earlier, about 6.3K were on-line and it took almost more than 2 minutes for my character to pop-up.
